Semantocentrism is a post-omnidoxical belief orientation of Cometanic origin within the Astronist philosophy of religion. It states the belief that religious and philosophical education and learning about one's own religion to the fullest extent must be a central aspect of life; that the exploration of one's beliefs is an exploration of the self.

Semantocentrism advocates for the notion that deeply theological and philosophical ideas should be taught in schools and that terminology should be known to as many people as possible. Semantocentric thought argues that what we learn of in religion and philosophy is core to our existential purpose that we need to commit a significant amount of time to the study of these subjects.
